That just shoulds you how corrupt the human mind is.“So they took Jesus away. 17 Carrying the cross by himself, he went to the place called Place of the Skull (in Hebrew, Golgotha). 18 There they nailed him to the cross. Two others were crucified with him, one on either side, with Jesus between them.” (John 19 NLT - Jesus Sentenced to Death - Then Pilate - Bible Gateway) Golgotha was named after the place where Jesus died. Because that’s where David placed Golgotha’s skull outside the walls of Jerusalem.
The resurrection of Jesus Christ happened three days after his crucifixion. “1st, Christ predicted His resurrection. The Bible records, "From that time Jesus began to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things ... and be killed, and be raised up on the third day" (Matthew 16:21, New American Standard Bible). ” (Why the Resurrection Matters) After his resurrection he made appearances to his followers to reassure them.Jesus came to this earth as a the ultimate sacrificial lamb. That tore the veil top to bottom spiritual. So we can be with God in heaven through the Son(Jesus).
The birth, death and resurrection of Christ is sanfactiate. God came to this earth as a child. Died for our sins, and rise from the dead. The cross has the final word.
